Why Study Civil Engineering ?

A Civil Engineer is responsible for the planning design, maintenance and management of construction projects. Projects include construction of multi-story buildings roads, bridges, harbors, airports, sport stadiums and water purification plants. Civil engineering involves the constant recreation improvement and conservation of the environment as well as establishment of the facilities required for the effective functioning of the community.

Civil engineers primarily plan, design, construct, operate, and maintain physical infrastructure, including water and waste management facilities, transportation and communications infrastructure, and structures and public buildings. This all-important infrastructure supports people’s basic needs while enabling and driving economic development.

    Admissions for this course will allow students to obtain credits to most University of Technologies by passing all N4, N5, N6 subjects with at least 50% in each subject.
